Often referred to as a cultural superpower, the small island of Jamaica is popular with tourists. Originally discovered by Christopher Columbus in 1494, this island has a gigantic history, despite its size. This is a great opportunity for you to learn all about the island, experience the culture and enjoy some time in the sun!

Fly to Jamaica

This flight deal I have found you is available on flights.thomson.com for just £259 per round trip. This is based on flying from East Midlands Airport on 27/01/2015 and returning on 10/02/2015. It is worth noting that you could fly from a few other places, but the price goes up from £259! Here’s a list of where you could fly from and the dates of the flights.

  • Manchester: 28/01/2015 – 11/02/2015 – £269
  • Birmingham: 13/01/2015 – 20/01/2015 – £294
  • London Gatwick: 29/01/2015 – 12/02/2015 – £303

Whilst you’re in Jamaica, you’ll probably need to find somewhere to stay. To do this, I would recommend using either trivago.co.uk or hotels.com because they have really cheap hotel deals. An example of what can be found is the Cedar Ridge Lodging, which has received a TripAdvisor rating of 4.5/5. If you book this hotel through trivago.co.uk it would only cost you £35 per room per night, or £490 for the entire stay. Between two people that’s only £245pp; definitely helping keep your holiday on a budget.

If you were looking for something a bit more luxurious, you could go for the 3* Villa Sonate, which has received a TripAdvisor rating of 4.5/5. This would cost you £554 per person for the entire 14 night stay when you book it through hotels.com

This is a great opportunity for you to get away for a couple of weeks in the sun. It’s the excuse you’ve been looking for as well as being an absolute bargain. Don’t miss out on this deal!
