The ultimate boutique Staycation. Set on the North side of Cornwall this little hotel is as absolute gem, only reinforcing the idea that for a weekend break, or a couple of days away, there really is no need to go abroad; just stay close to home. The hotel you’ll be in is just a short walk away from the port itself, as well as from many restaurants including the Restaurant Nathan Outlaw, the Chapel Cafe and Outlaw’s Fish Kitchen!

Book your Port Isaac Staycation today!

You’ll be staying in the 4* Longcross Hotel (4/5 on TripAdvisor + Certificate of Excellence) and I can guarantee that it’s a fantastic place to stay on your Port Isaac Staycation! First and foremost, pets are allowed, so bring your dog along to enjoy the experience with you! There’s also a bar, a lounge, a restaurant, as well as free High-Speed WiFi of course, so you can still keep in touch with your friends and family back home!

What better way to start your stay near Cornwall, than with a walk to, and then along, the expanse of cliffs that Cornwall has to offer. This path is easily mapped out, as it is part of the South West Coast Path. Having admired the beauty of the English coastline, I would then recommend heading down to the postcard-like Boscastle Harbour and finding a pub for a bite to eat. It is also worth noting, that if you go in October the Boscastle Festival of ‘Real Food’, Arts and Crafts will be taking place.

If you take your car with you, it would be easier for you to explore Port Isaac and its surrounding villages, including Crackington Haven and Tintagel. This area in general has been used to film some popular television shows, such a Doc Martin, which has a reputation for being set in some of the most beautiful scenery England has to offer.
