4 Night Amsterdam City Break Including 4* Hotel And Flights

With this Amsterdam city break from and EasyJet you will be spending 4 nights in a 4* spa hotel in Amsterdam, and have your flights included, all for just £180 per person – a truly phenomenal deal!

My suggested flights are from Liverpool to Amsterdam, although there’s loads of flights available for great prices from across the UK. Transfers aren’t included, but it’s very easy by public transport – check your options here.

The 4* Corendon Vitality hotel is located in the Slotervaart area of Amsterdam, just a short tram ride into the city. There’s a spa with a swimming pool, a fitness centre, and some swish design features to make this hotel a truly stylish place to stay on your Amsterdam city break. By public transport you’re within easy reach of the city centre, as well as the gorgeous Vondelpark and Museum Quarter – so get ready for some Dutch masters! The hotel scores 4/5 on TripAdvisor.

Amsterdam is well known to be one of the coolest cities around, as well as one of the most historic and best preserved in Northern Europe. Far more than it’s party reputation would have you believe, Amsterdam is a city full of stories to explore, from the tragically short life of Anne Frank at the Anne Frank House Museum to the occupants of renaissance masterpieces at the world-class and vast Rijksmuseum. To stroll through Amsterdam then is to stroll through the stories of the many people who have passed through this iconic city, gazing upon buildings and beautiful canals that countless others have looked at over the centuries. Modern Amsterdam is now a hub of Dutch cool, with interesting boutiques and cool cafes and eateries lining the historic grachten (the Dutch word for canals – Amsterdam boasts more than a hundred kilometres of canal so this word will soon become familiar to your on your Amsterdam adventure.) The touristy flower market is also worth a look, but try and get off the beaten track too with a wander in the massive Vondelpark, just a stone’s throw away from the Van Gogh and Rijksmuseum on Museumplein, home of the iAmsterdam sign. Amsterdam’s oldest quarter is the infamous red light district, build around the Oude Kerk.

Far more than just a titillating stroll past sex shops and naughtiness, this area is one of Amsterdam’s most fascinating – try coffee and cake at the hipstery haven of a cafe attached to the Oude Kerk, Amsterdam’s oldest religious building, before heading down the canal to the interesting Our Lord In The Attic church, hidden in the loft of a renaissance town-house by a Catholic merchant during Holland’s religious persecutions. If you get a chance you should also try a Dutch pancake – sweet or savoury, these delicacies are a tasty treat to help fuel your explorations. For a great Amsterdam tour, the Guru recommends Hungry Birds Amsterdam, which lets you explore the city via it’s food, guided by the ever-enthusiastic Esther-Hanna and Zosia and a great treat to top off your Amsterdam city break. Find out more in my article here.  With so much to see and do, this Amsterdam city break gives you a great opportunity to really make the most of this unique and amazing city.
