Amsterdam is one of my favourite cities in Europe, along with most other peoples’. It’s fun, it’s exciting and it has a charm that can’t be found anywhere else, or even described for that matter.

You will be staying in the 4* NH Amsterdam Zuid for the duration of your 2 night stay. This hotel has received a TripAdvisor rating of 71%. Whilst you are staying here you will be provided with a daily breakfast, which makes your stay that much easier. You will also be able to relax after a long day of exploring with free access to the sauna!

Whilst you are staying in Amsterdam there is so much for you to do that you will definitely want to have a plan of attack before you just start aimlessly wondering the streets. I am particularly fond of the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, both of which are really popular (with good reason)!

Guru Tip: Unless you are feeling particularly confident and reckless, do not cycle around Amsterdam- it is one of the most terrifying experiences ever and is not worth it!

I would really recommend heading to the Restaurant Johannes. This is more of an experience than a meal and is full of creative food that you won’t be able to find anywhere else, much like the atmosphere in Amsterdam. This isn’t the cheapest place to eat, but it is absolutely worth it!

This deal is available to you in two parts. The first part is on travelbird.co.uk for only £49 per person. This includes your 4* hotel stay, Flights, Breakfast and Sauna Access. The second part is your flights on easyjet.co.uk. The flights that I have found leave from London Stansted on 26/11/2014 and return on 28/11/2014. These would cost you £79, bringing the total cost of this trip up to £128 per person.

This is the perfect excuse for you and a companion to get away from the UK for a few nights. Explore one of the most exciting and popular cities Europe has to offer, spend time in a great hotel and find out what all of the hype is about.
