Whenever somebody says the word “China” something springs to everybody’s mind. It could be the Great Wall, it could be Beijing, Shanghai, the Yangtze River or maybe even the Three Gorges Dam. Well in this trip you are going to be able to see every single one of those.

The deal that I have found you is available through travelbird.co.uk and costs £1,165. At first it may look like a lot of money, but I promise you it’s going a long way! This 10 night trip will culture you, expand your horizons and set fire to your natural instinct to explore.

Amazing 5* China Tour: visit the Great Wall, the Forbidden City, take a 5* Cruise and stay in great 5* Hotels

To start with, you will fly over night to Beijing, where you will be greeted and whisked away to the first of your 5* hotels. This hotel is the 5* Ritan Hotel Beijing, which received a rating of 87% on TripAdvisor and has a variety of excellent restaurants in the vicinity!

Over the course of the next few days you will be ticking multiple items off your bucket list. It is worth noting that all of the activities that you do on this trip are included in the price as well! You will be visiting a phenomenal list of places on your visit, in one day you’ll see Tiananmen Square and head into the Forbidden City. You will later pay a visit to the beautiful Temple of Heaven, where you can relax in the serenity and enjoy the peace and quiet from your busy schedule!

The following day is the big one: The Great Wall of China. One of the world’s most breath-taking structures boasts some really beautiful views of both the wall and the surrounding area. It’s like nothing you’ve ever seen before! Do not forget your camera because you’ll be kicking yourself at the missed photo opportunities. Having stopped for a rest and a rejuvenating lunch you’ll head to the Ming Tombs. I think this is one of the most interesting parts for anybody who is interested in historical figures and such. It is also something that fewer people get to go to, so it is a different environment for you to be in.

The day after this, the fifth day of your holiday, is one where you travel around a bit more! You head to the Summer Palace in Beijing in the morning, which is another absolutely breathtaking and traditional Chinese experience, filled with parks, palaces and lakes with an atmosphere that will leave you puzzled to try and find the right words to describe. After this you’ll be taken to see some more traditional Chinese buildings, but this time in the form of the traditional residential areas. It is after all of that, that you will fly to Wuhan to start your cruise down the Yangtze.

The cruise that you will be going on is the 5* Cruise Sinorama Diamond where you will be staying in a luxury cabin for the duration and where you will be catered for every day! Travelling by boat through China offers your a really different view of China than you have already seen. The natural landscapes that come into view as you sail down the river are absolutely beautiful, it’s scenery that you will never forget and never want to forget. Again, make sure you have your camera!

During this cruise, you make stops at various places, the Three Gorges Dam being one of them. It’s an interesting, if slightly unattractive, thing to go and see for two reasons. 1) it is the world’s largest hydropower project and 2) it is one of the most controversial structures that has ever been built. So controversial that it is taught in Geography lessons across the UK. On your cruise you will also see Chongqing where you will go and visit Shi Bao Zhai. Shi Bao Zhai is one of the most important monuments in China. As this is your last day on the cruise there will also be a party to say goodbye!

It is the following day where you are transported to the third of your 5* accommodations. This hotel is the 5* Wyndham Bund of East Shanghai, which received a TripAdvisor rating of 75%! This is your last day and you will be given some time to relax and unwind as you enjoy your luxury hotel, which has spa facilities and a spa if you would like to use them. If you would prefer you could do some more exploring of the area around you, Shanghai is another striking city!

This trip is the trip of a lifetime. It manages to balance a luxury holiday with an adventure that everybody dreams about. This offer won’t hang around for very long and it really is the case that if you hesitate for too long somebody else will have booked it. What more could you possibly want from a holiday? It will be the best money you’ve ever spent.
