Cologne is one of Germany’s favourite cities. With everything from art to chocolate to sports on offer in this city the culture is boundless. Grab this offer to make the most of this city break.

2 nights Cologne

Using my holiday know how, I have created this cheeky little package holiday which will see you enjoying Cologne for less than £100.

Using flights from Ryanair and hotels from Trivago you could be spending 2 nights in Germany for just £71 per person.

Flights are  from London Stanstead to Cologne, the dates I have found are in early May but there’s many date available. Transfers are not included but local transport is cheap enough so you can access your hotel easily enough. Check your options here.

The hotel from Trivago is the Best Western Premier Park overlooking the Rhine. This hotel scores 4/5 on TripAdvisor and is in the top 100 hotels in Cologne. This 4 star hotel has its own rooftop terrace overlooking the city. Some rooms come with balconies overlooking the Rhine which makes for a great view to watch the sun set over the city. The hotel also has a wellness area equipped with gym and sauna. Not bad at all.

With so much on offer in Cologne it is hard to know where to start. Without doubt you can’t miss the Cathedral – quite literally. This colossal building is the centre point of Cologne with both religious and architectural significance.

If you’re not sure what to do I would suggest starting your break with a cruise tour along the Rhine. Here you will get an introduction to the city and see the parts you want to explore further once you step off board. For all the beer drinkers out there be sure to try a Kölsch – the local beer of Cologne. Don’t be surprised by the small portion, this won’t come in a pint like back home, but it will go down just as nice.

Cologne has so much to offer, and with flights going this cheap it would be crazy to miss out.
