Düsseldorf is a city that is really widely known about. With so many beautiful views, stunning buildings and so much for you to explore, it really isn’t any wonder that this city has been one of the most popular destinations for a city break for a long time.

This deal is a kind of, make your own package type of deal. This means that you’ll need to book your Hotel and Flights separately. The hotel I have found is available on trivago.co.uk for just £56 per person. This is for the 5* Hilton Düsseldorf, which has received a TripAdvisor rating of 4/5.

Your flights are available on ryanair.com for just £30 per round trip. When you follow the link to the website you will need to put in your own details, which does mean that you can choose where you’re flying from, to a certain extent, and change the dates around a bit. The dates I have used to find this price are the 09/01/2015 – 11/01/2015 and leaves from London Stansted. This means your trip will cost you £86 per person! Beware that if you change the dates of the flights, the price of the hotel might change as well!

When you’re in Düsseldorf, you should definitely visit the Altstadt, or Old Town. It boasts some really beautiful, classic German housing which gives you an opportunity to really see how the city has developed over the years.

If you’re looking for views, I would recommend heading up the Rheinturm (Rhein Tower) to see out of the observation deck, it has some really beautiful views over the city and the Rhein; don’t forget your camera, it’s one of the best views you will get in Düsseldorf!

If you’re looking for the more tranquil aspects of Düsseldorf, head to the Nordpark, which is a really underrated park in the north of the city. It’s quiet, beautiful and has some really pretty landscaped gardens for you to stroll around.

If you fancied going out for dinner, I would recommend heading to Bob & Mary. This is a restaurants that serves American food, but at a level that will leave you feeling incredibly content. It’s informal, busy and really cheap as well! Definitely worth a visit. If you wanted something a little bit more up-market, I would head to Im Schiffchen, which serves French and Italian cuisine; it’s reasonably priced and in a really beautiful building.

This is a really good opportunity for you to go and visit a different city, learn about its history and just have fun whilst you’re away from home. It’s an absolute bargain, so there’s nothing stopping you!
