Here’s your chance to visit two continents at once! With a trip to Istanbul, the largest city in Turkey, you’ll be able to experience a city which lies both on the European and the Asian continent. This cosmopolitan city is so unique and has some fascinating things that can’t be experienced elsewhere. Istanbul is definitely a city that you should explore with your family or with your best friends. Good that I have found you the perfect deal for a group of three adults :)

You can book on this bargain deal which includes your flights, a 4-star hotel  with breakfast for a 4-night stay for only £220 per person. The hotel is the the 4-star Istanbul Golden City Hotel which has an excellent rating of 91% on TripAdvisor and a Certificate of Excellence.

You’ll fly out from London Heathrow with British Airways on 14th March in the morning. But if you prefer to fly from any other UK airport, just type in your favourite airport and have a look at the updated price. I checked for you alternative airports and you can choose to fly from either Newcastle, Aberdeen, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Belfast, Leeds Bradford or Manchester for a little extra (more info below).

So once you have decided from where you’ll fly, your destination is very clear: Istanbul! With a quick taxi ride of 17 minutes you’ll arrive at your hotel which lies in the heart of the city. So drop off your bags and head first to the popular
Galata Tower. It’s only a short walk from your place!

Also nearby are many beautiful mosques to visit, but one worth noting is the blue mosque on Sultanahmet Square. And then dive into the ancient past at Aya Sofia, a cathedral built in AD537 which was turned now into a museum.

After exploring the diverse attractions in Istanbul rest a little in one of the many bars and cafes where you should try local delicacies like Baklava. For some good local ale check out Bebek Taps Brewery or the eclectic secret charm of Büyük Londra Oteli and Terrace Bar. The place to go for some entertainment and art is KargA(rt) Bar.

There are many things to do while you’re in Istanbul and these are just a few suggestions, so be sure to make the most of your four night trip :)

FYI: To find your flights from another airport just follow this link and click on ‘change search’ on top. There you only need to change the airport and press on ‘search again’. Now you should see an overview of all deals during the dates and from your airport. The easiest way to find the same offer is by using the filter results box on the left side of the page.
