A Jamaica holiday has a reputation as being a holiday in a laid back reggae loving country with tropical paradise vibes, but there’s more to this destination than meets the eye.

Your 14-night Jamaica Holiday

This offer from Thomas Cook is crazy good, and with plenty to do in Jamaica you’ll have a fun filled two weeks in this tropical paradise.

The package from Thomas Cook is for 14 nights Hotel, Flights and Breakfast all for just £590 per person.

Flights are  from Manchester to Montego Bay. Transfers are not included at this price but can be added for an additional £70 taking your holiday to just £660 per person. This is the easiest option, but for alternatives check here.

The hotel you’ll be checking into is the Rooms on the Beach Negril. No matter which way you turn from this resort you’ll pretty much be heading to the beach. The hotel has it’s own pool with a sun terrace which is perfect for soaking up those tropical rays. The hotel scores 4/5 on TripAdvisor and ranked within the top 50 hotels of the area.

Beyond your hotel there is so much to do in Jamaica, it’s not all reggae music and rum punch. Not well known, but Jamaica really is one for the adrenaline junkies. Activities on offer in paradise include traversing Dunn’s Waterfalls, riding up Mystic mountain, zip lining, riding a zegway in the plantations, swimming with dolphins and catamaran cruises. Bet you didn’t know that!

A must do for all those brave soldiers out there is cliff jumping. This is one way to get the heart racing and you can’t be out done by the locals. But if plunging into the sea from great heights isn’t your thing then be sure to relax in a street side restaurant and try the local food. I’m a big fan of the ‘festivals’ – not a party but a fried sweet dough.
