Madrid is the largest city, and capital, of Spain. It is famed for it’s beautiful architecture, such as the Royal Palace, as well as being home to the world’s oldest restaurant. There is so much you can do here that your three day stay will fly by!

You will be staying in the 4* Vincci Via 66 hotel, which has received a TripAdvisor rating of 4/5 as well as a Certificate of Excellence for 2014. This hotel is located on the Gran Via, one of the major shopping streets which also has various theatres and architectural landmarks along it. Here you are perfectly placed to see all of the sights that you want to, with public transport literally around the corner. Getting here from the airport will only cost you about £2 per person.

This hotel has a wellness area, which you could use to relax in after a long days sight-seeing. You could choose to use the sauna, steam bath, ice fountain and many other facilities that they have. This means that, although your days will be jam-packed with visits and tours and walking around, you will still be able to have a couple of hours to yourself to fully unwind at the end of each day.

Whilst you’re in Madrid there is so much for you to see and do that you will probably have to time manage really well! I really enjoy the ride on the cable cars. It gives you really good panoramic views over most of the city, meaning you’ll get some really good photos of the main tourist attractions!

For dinner, I would have to recommend the oldest restaurant in the world; Botin Restaurant. This restaurant serves traditional Mediterranean cuisine and dates back to 1725! It has definitely only lasted this long because it’s good enough to. It’s not the cheapest restaurant, but it would make a nice evening out for you to enjoy an experience you’ll never forget.

This deal is available to you in two parts. The first part is the hotel, which is available through hotels.com for just £124 per person. The second is the flights, which are available to you on expedia.co.uk for £78 per person. This would bring the total cost of your trip to £202 per person!

This deal is a really good way for you to explore a new city. It’s vibrant, it’s lively, cultural and really beautiful. The time that you will be visiting isn’t as touristy either, so you’ll be able to enjoy all of the best bits, without the large numbers of people! It really is the ideal city break.
