The 4* Z New York Hotel is an amazing find, just across the river from Manhattan in Long Island City so you can really make the most of the views over the fabulous New York City skyline. You shouldn’t worry about getting into the city though – there’s a shuttle bus to take you into Manhattan every hour, on the hour. The coolest feature of this hotel though has to be the rooftop bar, which you can see in the picture above – the perfect place for chilling with a cocktail and taking in the stunning skyscrapers of the city just across from you. They also do brunch on a Sunday, so you can wake up and enjoy the view before getting your bus into town for some more iconic experiences! No wonder this hotel scores 4/5 on TripAdvisor.

Once you’re in New York, you’ll have loads of time to make the most of the city that doesn’t sleep – you may even have time for a kip yourself! There are also a lot of the attractions that are free, from the Staten Island Ferry to the Brooklyn Bridge – so you don’t have to break the bank once you get there… it can be done on the cheap too! Having said that, paying to go up the Empire State Building is a must; the views are stunning. Combine this with a short shopping spree on 5th avenue and you’ll probably undo all of the good work you’ve done with the free things! Also be sure to have a proper New York breakfast whilst you’re there; lots of pancakes and maple syrup with bacon (sounds strange, but works oh so well).

The world’s most iconic city awaits! But with prices this good you shouldn’t be waiting as this New York City break will book up quick – it’s not often you get a deal this good for £510 – so book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
