Budapest is a city that is becoming more and more popular every day. People from all over the world have now heard about and want to go to Budapest. There’s so much to do, both on and off the beaten path that you’ll wish you could stay longer.

I have chosen the dates for the example with the cheapest flights, however the dates aren’t set in stone. When you follow the link to you can just change your dates to suit you. There are various dates available for this trip up until 31/03/2015, so you have plenty of choice!

Whilst in Budapest you will have such a variety of things to do. Budapest is actually divided into two parts by the river Danube. On one side you have quaint streets and more traditional buildings where it’s really nice to relax with a coffee and a cake and watch the world go by. On the other side you have a livelier part of town which is better for eating out in the evenings and houses various museums and the Hungarian Parliament Building.

Fun Fact!: Budapest was originally two separate cities, Buda and Pest. They were unified in 1873 to become one bigger city, but by that point had developed their own sense of style, hence the differences that you will notice that still remain today!

I would definitely recommend you trying some local Hungarian cuisine! One of the restaurants that is renowned for its traditional Hungarian cooking is Kéhli Restaurant, which is over 100 years old and still going strong so they must know what they’re doing!

Budapest is a real gem. It’s one of those cities that everybody has heard of and means to go to, but they never get the chance. Here is that chance. One of the coolest, most interesting cities in Europe and this is an opportunity that is not to be missed!
