The Cotswolds are a range of beautiful rolling hills in west-central England, often referred to as the “Heart of England”. A designated area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, it really is no wonder that it is one of the most desirable staycation destinations for most British people!

The deal I have found you is on travelbird.co.uk for just £49.50 per person. This includes your 2 night Hotel stay, daily Breakfast, welcome Afternoon Tea, Early Check-in & Late Check-out. With this deal you will be staying in Stinchcombe Hill House, which has received an outstanding TripAdvisor rating of 5/5!

As mentioned above, you will be provided with a daily Breakfast so that you can fill up properly before you go and explore the surrounding area. The area you are in is called Dursley, which has a small town centre which I would suggest walking through. It’s a nice atmosphere with a quintessentially British town feel about it. However, the best part about being in the Cotswolds is exploring the nature that is all around you.

The Cotswolds tend to have very well signposted footpaths, mainly because that is the main reason that people go there; to walk around and experience the beauty of nature. There is a walk on the walkingenglishman.com which starts in Dursley, moves on through Cam Long Down and then through Peaked Down and back to Dursley again. This is a really popular route and is really beautiful; also it’s not too long or too hard! I would definitely recommend this walk.

This is the perfect excuse for you to get away for a few nights, reconnect with nature, enjoy some time with your partner and just forget about all the stresses of home life whilst you’re wandering the beautiful rolling hills of the Cotswolds.
