This is not simply a London staycation… you’ll stay in a flamboyant hotel which is as central as can be and only pay half the price of the normal room rates. Spend 3 days in central London with the deal that I found on and feel welcomed like a king (or queen) by the 4-star Rubens At The Palace (90% on Tripadvisor). It is located directly next to Buckingham Palace! Ask for an upgrade to a Superior King Room, if one’s free it’s all yours and then you will definitely feel like a royal :) They will spoil you with their award winning cuisine and you will be energized for the next day of exploring London. On one night you will get a 3-course dinner in one of the two reputable restaurants of the hotel, The Library with traditional English and international food or the Old Masters who are specialized in high quality meat-dishes, so make sure you try their Aberdeen Angus.

So step outside the hotel and you’re right there! Watch the changing of the guards at Buckingham Palace and take a walk in St. James park. The unique location of this central London hotel makes it so easy for you to walk to the major sight like Trafalgar Square, Downing Street, down to Westminster and Big Ben and cross the bridge to take a spin on London Eye! My advice: Check out The Photographers’ Gallery close to Oxford Street, where they have great exhibitions with unique shots. For a relaxed drink in London try out The Globe Tavern, situated at the South Bank in the middle of London’s Borough Market. It actually featured as the place above which Bridget Jones lives in the film :) Every first Friday in the month the Tavern puts up a great vintage RnB and soul night DJ mixing, so make sure you don’t miss that! I’m sure you’re going to have a fantastic London city break!
