It’s Shakespeare’s country and its beautiful countryside! How about a nice trip to Stratford-upon-Avon in Warwickshire? I found a great hotel deal on, so if you’re interested click through (and register if you aren’t already) and treat yourself to this amazing value deal!

Stay in the magical 16th century mansion Puma Walton Hall Hotel (78% on Tripadvisor), the ancestral home of Mordaunt family and the place where England’s high society came together. It was turned into a hotel and there is now no trace of any stiff atmosphere. It’s just the opposite. You can look forward to a super cosy stay in this 4 star hotel that is held in its traditional and luxurious design combined with modern comforts. Sleep in their Premium Room with a garden or lake view and comfy bathrobes and slippers waiting for you. You will also find a newspaper in your room! In the evening you are invited to a three-course set menu dinner in the Moncreiffe Restaurant, an AA Rosette award winning place with a big open fireplace, lavish decorations and a stunning view across the grounds. In addition to your dinner you get a nice bottle of wine from the hotel! After a good night’s sleep then you can then let yourself be spoiled in the morning with a delicious breakfast to give you the energy for the day. Since a late checkout is included you can then use the time and relax in the hotel’s spa. Take advantage of the indoor swimming pool, as well as of the sauna and steam room. At your own cost you also book treatments, like Decleor facials, body wraps or massages (they also offer Swedish hot stone massages).

If you like to explore Stratford-upon-Avon town then you just drive 7 miles up the road and you’re in the heart of this historic place. If the dates allow it you can even go to a show of the famous Royal Shakespeare Company or visit Warwick Castle. And my favourite thing to do is of course, have a cuppa tea in one of the many cafes… :)
