This trip to Wales is a really good way for you to stay within the UK but get away from home life. It gives you the perfect opportunity to surround yourself in stunning scenery and completely relax in the tranquillity that Llanbedr has to offer.

You will be staying in the 4* Bryn Artro Country House for two nights. This hotel received an excellent TripAdvisor rating of 91%, as well as receiving a Certificate of Excellence for 2014. This hotel is in a building that dates from the early 1800s, which was originally a gentleman’s country house. It is definitely worth noting that it has a really good restaurant, with the head chef having received two rosettes.

This deal is available to you through and will only cost you £74.50 per person. Included in this deal is your two night stay at this hotel. As well as this you will be served breakfast on both of the mornings that you are there. Dinner is complimentary for the first night of your stay and will be a 2-course dinner for 2. I like the idea of dinner on the first night, it gives you a chance to get your bearings and relax a bit after your journey there.

Whilst in Llanbedr you should definitely try and get towards Snowdonia. There is actually a Snowdonia Activity Centre based just 2 miles out of Llanbedr, so if you were feeling particularly active and adventurous, you should definitely head out to that for some rock climbing, canyon-sliding fun! If not, you could go the Snowdon Mountain Railway, it’s a really enjoyable way to see the best of the countryside. It takes you to the top of Snowdon (definitely easier than climbing it) and gives you really good views, if the weather’s any good!

This is a really good opportunity for you and a friend, or loved one, to get away for a few days. You have several months leeway, so there’s significantly less pressure of when to go. It promises to be one of the most tranquil Staycations you’ve ever had.
