Manchester is a city that is incredibly well known world-wide. It is primarily famous abroad because of its football teams and history of producing excellent football stars and, therefore, excellent game play. To those who are from the UK, however, Manchester is famous for a few other things, one of them being music (having bands such as Oasis coming from Manchester) and also, more recently its brilliant Christmas Markets.

You will be staying in the 4* Victoria and Albert Hotel which is located in the centre of Manchester, just a stones throw away from the train station (click here for directions). This hotel has received a TripAdvisor rating of 80% as well as a Certificate of Excellence for 2014! So you won’t be disappointed! Then take the chance and book this deal on which offers you a discount of 46%!

You will be staying in your hotel on a Bed and Breakfast basis, so there’s no need to worry about where to find breakfast because you’ve already got it. You will also receive a bottle of Prosecco when you get to your hotel, so you and the person you decide to go with can enjoy sipping on a glass (or three) before heading out to the Christmas Markets.

The Christmas Markets in Manchester have recently become really well known. They sell various items from all across Europe, ranging from French profiteroles and Mulled Wine to Jewellery and other various nik-naks from the continent. Don’t worry if you get cold though, because there are so many hot drinks available that you won’t know what to do with yourself.

This is a really good opportunity for you and a friend, or partner, to get away for a night without having to actually leave the country. This trip will fill you full of Christmas spirit and you might even be able to get excited about the prospect of Christmas and instead of hating the Christmas songs that have been playing from the beginning of October, you might actually enjoy them.
