Everybody loves the idea of island hopping around the Turkish and Greek islands, but nobody is every sure of the best way to do it. This cruise deal is the perfect way for you to do just that, explore the best that the area has to offer whilst staying on board a beautiful yacht. What more could you want from it?
Your Island Hopping Cruise
The deal I found you is available on travelbird.co.uk for just £339 per person. This includes your Flights to Dalaman from either London Gatwick or Manchester Airport; always a nice bonus to have a choice, giving you that much more flexibility. It is worth noting that the cheaper dates are all with flights from London Gatwick. Also included in this deal is your 7 night Full-Board Cruise and one piece of Cabin Baggage.
Once you land in Dalaman, you will need to then to make your way to the Harbour in Marmaris. Your transfers are not included, but are bookable as an optional extra; it is definitely the easiest way for you to get there, but not necessarily the cheapest.
Where will your Cruise take You?
Once in Marmaris you will spend the night on your yacht; by the time you get there it will be quite late in the evening, so you’ll definitely want to go straight to bed.
The following morning you will leave for Serce Bay, where you will be able to see a shipwreck from the 11th century in a museum, if you want to. The port itself is in a really wonderful setting, with ancient walls built around it- it’s different to anywhere else you’ll have been before.
The next stop is Bozburun, which is a really charming and small fishing village. This is just a flying stop before you head to Bencik Bay, which has absolutely stunning views once you get inside. It is definitely one for the camera.
Atkur Bay is another stop on the list, where you’ll be able to go for a swim in the bay and enjoy a relaxing lunch before you cruise along to Datca where you can go exploring with the rest of the time that you have there. I would recommend joining a tour, like the Cnidus tour because it’s the easiest way for you to maximise your time there.
Symi is one of the many beautiful Greek islands with neoclassical houses. Here you will have the opportunity to explore and discover the island’s forests, bays and stunning views.
You will then move onto Rhodes, where you will be able to make the most of the climate and learn about all of the medieval history that makes it so unique. There’s also some really great nightlife for you to sample after dinner if you feel like getting out for a bit.
The final stop on your way back to Marmaris is on Cennet Island, where you can go for another swim! This island is actually better known as Paradise Island, so you’ll definitely want to make sure you have memory space and battery left on your camera!
This is a really great opportunity for you to get some sun and just enjoy seeing the variety and beauty of the coast of Turkey and the Greek islands. This is an opportunity you definitely don’t want to regret missing out on.
