Steal away to the home of the four C’s: Copacabana, coffee, Christ the Redeemer and Carnaval! With these cheap flights to Brazil that I spotted, you can fly to Rio de Janeiro direct from just £475.

Cheap Flights to Brazil

This raucous, beachside city is famed world-over for the good and the bad: mountain peaks, lively music scene, golden beaches and sprawling slums. Coveted for its port, the “River of January” is full of fascinating colonial history and you can see beautiful Portuguese palaces today. The city has been knocked back more than once during ongoing political turmoil, but that shouldn’t put you off discovering this exciting region and its people. This multicultural melting pot will make you shake your hips to Samba so consider a holiday during Carnival!

The cheapest flights I spotted are from March to May. You can fly direct with British Airways and now Norwegian, who has just introduced its first route to Brazil. You can find a range of accommodation prices in and around the city – it really depends on how plush you want your hotel to be! Airbnb has a wide range of rooms and entire flats so make sure to check there for a bargain.

What are you waiting for? Dive into the Marvellous City by finding a flight that suits you!
