Feeling super festive this year? Check out this Hotel & Flights deal I put together using Kayak & my Skyscanner, and you can heading away on a festive Vienna Christmas break! The ‘Christkindlmärkte’ in Vienna date back to the Middle Ages (more specifically 1298!) when citizens of Vienna were granted the ‘privilege of holding a December Market’ – however since then, the markets have changed considerably!

You can buy almost anything Christmas Market related on these stalls, whether its the mulled wine and tasty Lebkuchen (gingerbread), to handmade wooden decorations – perfect for making your Christmas tree a little different this year. Although the Christmas markets only run until just before Christmas Day, some winter markets run over into the New Year too. But with your dates, you won’t miss out on anything!

Book your Vienna Christmas Break today!

You’ll be staying in the fantastic Hotel Donauwalzer (4/5 on TripAdvisor + Certificate of Excellence) and I can guarantee it’s the best place to stay on your Vienna Christmas Break! I can safely say this because… yep, I went there last month :) There’s a lovely little courtyard if you walk through the reception where you can just sit and read on the bench, and the reception area itself is great! Waking up in the morning, I was greeted by one of the staff members, who then asked me if I wanted to have Waltz lessons in the hotel that evening! The service is absolutely fantastic and not only that, but you’re gonna love the different rooms, each of which are differently themed, from a beer themed room to a Mozart themed one!

If the flights that I’ve found seem a little pricey, or you can’t make the airports, then never fear. I’ve got a couple of other options up my sleeve for you. You can also jet off from Manchester, Bristol or Edinburgh and enjoy your time here.

Book the hotel here! Book the flights here!

How to book this deal:

I found this deal by combining a hotel and flights deal. You need to book the hotel and flights separately by following the links to the providers’ pages. I suggest that you open the hotel and flights deal at the same time in your browser to keep an eye on the live prices and I recommend that you book the flights first. Please feel free to amend the dates, airport or length of stay yourself to suit you.
