La Sagrada Familia

The Wowcher Deal includes a tour of the amazing La Sagrada Familia which is probably the most famous sight in Barcelona. It attracts over 2.8 million visitors a year and is the most visited monument in Spain!
The church has been built by Antoni Gaudí, but unfortunately he couldn’t finish his work. Therefore the Sagrada Familia is still under construction after more than 100 years! Experts assume that when completed, the highest tower will be more than half as high again as those that are already finished today.

The architects still build the church like Gaudí has imagined it, so you’ll be seeing outlines that have been inspired by nature. Gaudí disliked straight lines “as there are non in nature”, he said. His work is very impressive and visiting the Sagrada Famila is definitely a must-do in Barcelona.

Don’t forget to pack your camera and summer cloths for this city break and enjoy your time!
