Berlin is possibly the most historically important and famous city in Europe. The history of Berlin is one which is best described as epic. It has been fought over, bombed, divided into two different parts, owned by two different countries, had a wall put up through the middle of it and only recently been reunited.

City Break in Berlin

The deal I have found you is available on for only £89 per person. This includes your 2 Night 4* Hotel stay and Flights! The way it works is that you buy the “deal” through the Wowcher website. Once you have purchased it they will send you a voucher code, to redeem this voucher all you have to do is contact Tour Center using the details that have been sent to you and then quote your full Wowcher code.

With this deal you will be staying in the 4* Ivbergs Hotel Premium, which has received an excellent TripAdvisor rating of 4.5/5 as well as being awarded a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence for 2014. You will be staying here on a room-only basis, but it gives you the chance to get out and explore the city in all of its glory!

With this deal there’s the option to add on a city bus tour for only £15 per person. It’s the easiest way for you and your travel companion to go and explore the city in its entirety. I really would recommend going ot hte Flohmarkt am Mauerpark, which is a traditional German market. It’s a bit hippie-esque but it’s really fun, and you can get some incredibly food there too!

Checkpoint Charlie is ever popular, you can pay around €5 and get a stamp in your passport to show that you were there, it’s really cool. Checkpoint Charlie is the old cross-over point of East and West Berlin, it gives you the chance to learn about how much this city has transformed over the years!

You wouldn’t believe it, but there’s actually a Currywurst Museum; yes.. a museum dedicated to curry covered sausages. It’s really interesting, and actually Currywurst is really quite good! Don’t forget to book a trip to the Reichstag, if you want a guided tour you’ll have to book an appointment and make sure that you have your passport with you so that they can check you aren’t a wanted terrorist.

If you wanted to eat out one evening, there are so many choices for you.. you’re genuinely spoilt for choice. I would recommend that you head to Jamme Ja, which is an Italian street food restaurant and it’s really good! If you wanted something a bit more upmarket and expensive; a real splurge, you could head to Heising, which is one of the best French restaurants in the country! Definitely worth the money.

This is a really great deal, which gives you an amazing chance to have a relaxing break in a great hotel, whilst managing to learn more about the history of a truly amazing city.
