Here’s an fantastic opportunity to travel to an up-and-coming city in China called Chengdu. Situated in the province of Sichuan, Chengdu boasts rich history and culture and of course some seriously fiery cuisine! But that’s not all – the city is actually home to the world-renowned Research Base of Giant Pandas, one of the leading panda conservation facilities in the world! You can get up close with these lovely animals and see all the hard work that goes into protecting them!
Cheap Flights to China
I’ve spotted these flights over at my Flight Finder. I only managed to find two dates that came to the same price, but you can always customise the dates yourself and see what other deals you can find. Flights depart from London Heathrow and you’ll have a stopover in Shenzhen before landing at Chengdu.
The surrounding Sichaun province is home to loads of truly wonderful treasures waiting to be discovered. There are several giant panda sanctuaries across the province as well as amazing sites such as Dujiangyan, an irrigation system of canals and dams built in 250 BC, the gardens of the Du Fu Cottage, and Mount Qingcheng.
