Christmas Markets are a huge part of European tradition. Everybody wants to see them and thousands of people travel miles and miles to see various ones that all claim to be “the best”. This deal is a really good opportunity for you to select where you want to go and how long for.

With this deal it is completely up to you when and where you go. The deal is available on from £99 per person. It give you the opportunity to visit one of nine different Christmas markets. The city options being: Nuremberg, Cologne, Bruges, Prague, Lille, Paris, Berlin, Budapest and Munich.

Each of these cities has spectacular charm at Christmas, which is why they’re such popular destinations at the time leading up to Christmas. Each of these cities are brilliant for different things. If you want variety and a large number to choose from, you would be better off going to Berlin, whereas if you wanted a smaller and more traditional market you would be better off going to Prague. It is definitely worth looking up the market at each city before you go, so that you know what to expect!

If I were to make a recommendation, it would be based on the hotels and their TripAdvisor rating. The two hotels that I wouldn’t necessarily recommend staying in would be the Winters Hotel in Munich and the Hotel Golden City in Prague. This is based on the fact that they have a TripAdvisor rating below a level that I would deem “good”.

The two best rated hotels are the hotels in Nuremberg (Acomhotel Nurnberg) which received 83%,  a Certificate of Excellence and a Gold Level in GreenLeaders! The other is the Hotel des Metallos in Paris, receiving 86% on TripAdvisor. Due to their high ratings these would be the two I would recommend first. However, it depends on what you’re going on holiday for.

This is a really good option for you if you’re looking for a nice weekend away filled with Christmas spirit and some brilliant shopping. Personally, I enjoy the eating and drinking at the markets the most, but that’s just me. What do you prefer? Maybe you don’t know, maybe it’s time you found out!
