Fancy floating in the Dead Sea or smothering yourself in mud that is said to completely rejuvenate your body? How about riding a camel across a desert and visiting an ancient monastery that has baffled the modern world for years? If the answer is yes, then this deal to Jordan is the one for you.

Your Self-Drive Adventure

This holiday is a self-drive holiday, meaning you get the chance to travel about a lot and see more of the country. You will fly into Amman, where you will spend your first night in the Toledo Amman, which has received a TripAdvisor rating of 4/5. Breakfast the following morning will be provided, so you can fill up before your drive to your next location.

Whilst you’re in Amman I would definitely recommend taking a look around. There are lots of souks you could visit to see if you can find any bargains, a citadel should you want to go there as well as plenty of other things. I would definitely recommend you get into the spirit of the holiday and try some local delicacies whilst you’re on your travels. A Shwarma tends to be really popular; a flat bread with lamb and a special sauce, with Mansaf being the most popular dish in Jordan.

After your night in Amman you will be moving on to the Dead Sea, where you will be staying in the 5* Holiday Inn Dead Sea Resort, which has received a TripAdvisor rating of 4/5 as well as winning 2 Travellers’ Choice Awards. You’ll be staying here for two nights, so you will have more than enough time to enjoy the surroundings. You definitely have to go and float in the Dead Sea. It’s possibly the most iconic thing to do in Jordan and is definitely worthwhile; don’t forget to cover yourself in the mud of the sea base (it’s really good for you apparently).

You will then move on to Petra where you will be staying in the Tetra Tree Hotel, which has received a TripAdvisor rating of 4/5. Petra needs no introduction really, this is another iconic area of Jordan, playing host to one of the largest rock-cut façades most people have ever seen. It’s really a spectacular site and a trip to Jordan would be incomplete without a trip to The Monastery.

You will then spend a night in Aqaba, where you will be staying in the Al Qidra Hotel, which has received a TripAdvisor rating of 4.5/5 as well as winning 2 Travellers’ Choice Awards. This is the perfect place for you to relax, with stunning beaches a plenty and some really good scuba diving/snorkelling opportunities you will be able to do exactly that! If you wanted to ride a camel through the desert, this is also the place where this is best done from because you’re really close to the Wadi Rum Desert!

This deal is available to you on for only £769 per person. This includes your 7 nights in Hotels, Flights, Car Hire, Breakfast as well as 23kg of luggage on each flight! This is the perfect excuse for you to get away for a week and discover a different country. It’s cultural, it’s beautiful, you have beaches, desert and rock façades- what more could you want from a holiday?
