Where the mountains meet the sea… It’s fair to say the Amalfi Coast truly is one of the most idyllic spots in all of Italy, but a getaway to this stunning corner of the country doesn’t have to cost a fortune!

Long Weekend in Amalfi

I’ve spotted some brilliant package holiday deals on Expedia for a 4-night long weekend in Amalfi next March – the perfect way to kick-start spring and wave goodbye to winter! The package comes with your return flights to Naples as well as your hotel stay, but I might also recommend looking into some car hire as well. It’s a great way to get around the region and you’ll be able to enjoy some breathtaking coastal drives, though there are also good bus connections in the region too.

You’ll be staying at the Hotel Bellevue Suites, situated just outside the centre of Amalfi in a lovely location surrounded by lush forests and dramatic hills. Rooms here are in the typical Italian style with light colours, and for a couple of euros you can also tuck into breakfast here as well.

As the main town of the region, Amalfi puts you in a fantastic location for exploring the area as a whole. I’d definitely recommend checking out Ravello, where you’ll find the beautiful Villa Rufolo and its breathtaking gardens, and just a little further along are Minori and Maiori, two adorable little towns with plenty of picturesque streets and squares to explore.

To book this deal, simply click the link to be taken to the package over at the provider’s website – I’ve put in some alternative dates that I’ve spotted as well!
