A vibrant port city with loads of offer, Marseille is a fantastic city break to do if you’re looking to explore a French city that’s worlds away from Paris. The Mediterranean climates are also a huge draw too… ;)

Marseille City Break

I’ve managed to put together a brilliant city break deal to Marseille next spring using Trivago and my Flight Finder. You’ll have return flights as well as your 3-night stay at the superb Alex Hotel. It’s a super stylish number situated right in the heart of the city, with loads of transport links right at your doorstep (convenient for getting to and from the airport!). Guests have left raving reviews, so I’d say you’re in for a wicked time here!

There’s plenty to see and do within the city itself, such as checking out the Old Port, or even heading up to the lovely Notre-Dame de la Garde basilica where you can get some seriously amazing views of the city. But what I also love about the city is the fact that there’s some breathtaking nature to scope out too. The Parc National des Calanques is unbelievably beautiful, with its many mountainous coves and turquoise waters. And I’d recommend a little trip to the fortress of Chateau d’If!
