There’s just no end to the beautiful landscapes and cities that are just waiting to be explored over in Croatia. Pula is definitely one of them – I know Dubrovnik tends to hog most of the limelight, but if you’re looking for a wicked alternative then I can’t recommend Pula enough!

Solo Trip to Pula, Croatia

Situated towards the north of the country in the coastal region of Istria, Pula is a city bursting with ancient history. The Ancient Romans and Venetian Empire have all left their mark on the city, whether it’s through subtle influences in the architecture or even just the fact that the city boasts one of the world’s largest and best preserved Roman amphitheatres. A worthy competitor for Rome’s Colosseum!

This is a wicked little solo deal that I’ve put together using Hotels.com and my Flight Finder tool. Included will be your return flights as well as your stay at the San Martino Rooms. This is a lovely collection of apartments right in the heart of the city. Each apartment’s been furnished to a fantastic standard and your hosts will definitely go out of their way to make sure you’re having a good stay there!

As a nice trip from Pula I definitely recommend visiting the seaside town of Rovinj. It features a beautiful historic core situated on a very pretty little peninsula. You’ll love strolling through the cobblestone streets and soaking up the magical atmosphere there.

To book this deal, simply use the links to book your apartment and flights separately over at the provider’s websites. :)
