Why not take a day off and head to the beautiful fields of Cheshire for a night. Situated in the North-West of the UK, Cheshire’s capital, Chester is a very underrated city of Great Britain. With its cobbled streets and Tudor buildings, it’s one of the prettiest shopping districts around.

The hotel you would be staying in is the Royal Oak Hotel and Restaurant, which received a rating of 87% on TripAdvisor! The deal we are offering you costs only £44.50 per person, and includes a full English Breakfast and a two-course a la carte dinner, with a glass of Prosecco to wash it down with, in its price! It’s an absolute bargain, normally costing double the current price! This offer is only available on travelzoo.co.uk, and will get booked up really quickly because of how good a deal it is!

Whilst in Cheshire I would suggest that you could visit the city centre of Chester, take a stroll through the shopping district with all of its Tudor buildings. Chester also has a beautiful Cathedral and a castle, both definitely buildings worth seeing. If you would prefer to do something else, then you could go to Chester zoo and just enjoy a relaxing day out with the person you’re spending your Staycation with!

If you really fancy doing some shopping, then Eastgate is the district to visit in Chester, with plenty of shops, as well as the Eastgate Clock, you will have plenty to keep yourself occupied. As well as the shops there are lots of little cafés for you to stop and have a bite to eat or to just watch the world go by, sipping on a latte.

This is a really good deal, and the location of the hotel is perfect; close enough to Chester that you won’t get lost. You could either drive, or get the bus which only costs £3 each way. Click here for details on the bus. This is the perfect quick trip to give yourself a mid-week break from work!
