Who doesn’t love a trip to the north! Newcastle is one of my favourite cities to explore, with so much to see and do. The people here are also super friendly. Check out this lovely little staycation that I spotted over on Groupon and you can be chilling out on Tyneside too!

With this lovely getaway you’ll be staying in the luxury of the 4* Grey Street Hotel (4.5/5 TripAdvisor rating). This hotel is in a beautiful Georgian house, bringing a touch of old time glamour to your stay. Don’t worry about the modern world though, as the hotel is also equipped with a SMART TV, air conditioning and tea and coffee facilities. There’s also a great restaurant on site.

The hotel is right in the centre of the city, and you’re super close to the huge intu Eldon Square Shopping Centre. The famous Grey’s Monument is also closeby. If you’ve shopped yourself into a frenzy, then don’t worry about a thing. The hotel is super kind and offers you a late check out time, so you can just relax and not have to worry about anything. For an extra £7pp, you can even opt in for some delicious Prosecco to help you really enjoy your stay.

I found this awesome staycation on Groupon so if this sounds up your street, head over there to book directly.
