Let’s go up north to visit County Antrim and explore the beauty of the little town Ballymoney. I found just the right deal for you on Travelbird.co.uk

You get to stay in the Pinehill Garden B&B (100% on Tripadvisor) situated in the beautiful lush green landscape. The 4 rooms are comfortably furnished with a shared bathroom. So this might also be an idea for a family trip, or a couple’s getaway. The rooms sleep up to 2 adults and 1 child. Note that children under 3 years of age go for free! It’s actually a great place for kids, since there is so much space to run around and a playground to compensate your kids energy level, while you relax in the sun outside :) Look forward to a rich breakfast in the morning and on your last day you can take advantage of the late checkout and sleep in. The tennis court is free of you to use and you don’t even have to bring a tennis racket or tennis balls, since the equipment is included, as well.

County Antrim is a great place for exploring Northern Ireland’s fascinating landscape. You have the Giant’s Causeway close by, it’s only a 30 minute drive from the hotel. So definitely check out these legendary rock formations. Of course from there it’s only a stone’s throw to the famous Carick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, which links the main land to the tiny island of the same name. If you’re not scared of heights you may cross the 66 feet long and 98 foot high bridge. Portrush, the small tourist spot is always worth a visit and also just a 30-minute drive away and Whiskey fans should of course drop by Bushmills…

FYI if you are a Game of Thrones fan: Make a trip to the nearby avenue of the 200-year old beech trees called Dark Hedges. It was used for the scene when Ayra Stark flees from King’s Landing in Season 2!
