Rye is said to be one of the most beautiful medieval villages that England has to offer. With a history dating back to before the Norman Conquest, it will come as no surprise that the town has more than enough historical buildings and beautiful views to keep you satisfied.

You will be staying in the Rye Lodge, which has received a TripAdvisor rating of 4/5. Whilst staying here you will be given Breakfast, as well as being greeted with a bottle of wine. You will also have access to the Venetian Leisure Centre that the hotel boasts. This includes an indoor swimming pool, a spa bath and a sauna. It’s the perfect little extra that will help you be really relaxed during your quick break.

This deal is available to you on travelzoo.co.uk for only £44.50, based on 2 adults sharing. It is worth noting that with this deal you book it directly through Travelzoo instead of having to call another company, making it even easier for you to do. Included in this deal is your Hotel stay, Full English Breakfast, Spa Access, a Bottle of Wine and a Lake Checkout time of 3pm. The late checkout is my favourite part of this deal, it means you can make the most of the facilities!

Rye is a small town, but there is enough to keep you busy for a day or two. I would really recommend heading to Rye Castle, it’s now a museum and is quite interesting. However, my favourite part of Rye is the coastline. Rye Harbour is actually a Nature Reserve and is seriously pretty. There are salt marshes, saline lagoons and more species of bird than you can shake a stick at.

This is the perfect opportunity for you to get away for a quick night, to find some peace and quiet in the beautiful county of East Sussex. Walk along the coastline, make use of the sauna and just have a good time in good company.
