Are you still on the hunt for a suitable hotel for your next sun-filled holiday, but you don’t fancy staying in a 300-room hotel complex? Then I’d like to present you with this absolute gem in Rhodes. In the adults only Hotel Casa Cook, you’ll find the perfect recovery resort with a truly special Bohemian design.

As you know, I could spend the whole summer discovering the Greek islands. Whether it be a secret island like Nisyros, Samos or Thasos, or one of the popular tourist destinations such as Rhodes or Crete: every island is unique. Yet another reason to show you this truly special hotel in Rhodes!

I’ve been to the 4 star Hotel Casa Cook in Rhodes once before and can honestly say that it’s one of the most stylish hotels that I’ve ever seen. The resort is located on the outskirts of Kolimbia on the east coast of Rhodes in the quiet area at the foot of the Tsambika mountain. The hotel isn’t located directly on the beach, but this isn’t a problem as you’re just a short walk away from the fine sand and salty water.

Casa Cook – the design

Bohemian – the word stands for carefree and unconventional zest for life. This is exactly what the design of the hotel wants to convey to its visitors and for this reason, the designers have considered this concept right down to every last detail. White buildings, wooden decks, natural materials and a mixture of modern and vintage style furniture – here, nothing is left to chance.

The rooms are truly beautiful

Imagine this, you open your eyes to the Greek morning sun shining on you and you find yourself in one of the stylish rooms of the Hotel Casa Cook. You climb out of your big, comfy bed and step out onto your own private terrace, from which you can dive straight into the pool. The highlight is that all rooms have a so-called swim-up pool at their disposal. On your terrace, you can enjoy the day lying on the sunbeds. Two types of rooms even offer hammocks on the terraces.

You’re spoilt for choice when it comes to the different types of rooms, from double rooms (about 26 – 28 m²) to loft suites, split level suites and bungalow suites (around 55m²). In some of the rooms, you can even bathe in your own private jacuzzi! How about a night for two in one of the double rooms? Type in your dates, and check the prices on Thomas Cook  or on Expedia!

All the facts at a glance:

  • A bohemian style hotel
  • Adults only
  • Opened in May 2016
  • 97 rooms
  • Rooms have direct access to the pool
  • Double rooms start from £134 a night

The resort is brimming with beauty. Here, natural materials are used and a mix of modernity and vintage makes sure that you feel like you’re on top of the world. Naturally, all rooms are equipped with a TV, air conditioning, a safe and a minibar. Complimentary WiFi is also available throughout the hotel.

But as the saying goes: pictures speak more than a thousand words!

A laid-back atmosphere

In this adults-only hotel, you can spend many relaxing hours at the large pool and just live for the moment in the hammocks or daybeds. In the foyer, there are comfy sofas for you to relax on and you can burn off some energy in the well-equipped gym or bring your body and soul into balance with an open-air yoga class. Namaste!

Dining at Casa Cook

In the morning, help yourself to the lavish breakfast buffet, which all the guests have highly praised. Freshly pressed orange juice, regional delicacies and fresh bread – what more could you want? Enjoy the first sun rays of the day on your poolside terrace with a coffee in hand or take a seat at the long wooden table in the restaurant and chat with other guests. Maybe you could even plan some trips around Rhodes together with your new acquaintances?

Now for dinner: Whether it’s Greek salad, Mediterranean specialities, vegan dishes or meat and fish from the grill, there’s something for everyone.

Rhodes tips

Although the hotel is located on the outskirts of the touristic holiday destination, Kolimbia, you don’t get any of the hustle and bustle at the resort. Additionally, Casa Cook in Rhodes is the perfect starting point to go and discover Rhodes.

If you haven’t got a rental car, then you could discover the island with the cool beach cruiser bicycles which can be rented from the hotel reception. Tsambika beach, probably one of the most beautiful beaches on the island, is just 6 kilometres away. How does a bicycle tour there sound?

My conclusion: You’ll feel very comfortable in the hotel! It’s the perfect place to stay for those who have a passion for stylish accommodation! Also for those who want more than just the normal design on their holiday. You can obviously find cheaper hotels in Rhodes but I promise you, the atmosphere, the delicious food and the amazing design make it worth every penny. If you’re looking for me next summer, you now know where to find me! ;-)
