You can fly to the Maldives from either London or Manchester, but there will be one stopover when flying from the UK. However once you land at Male it is just a 20 minute boat right to the Gili Lankanfushi resort. UK residents with a valid passport can obtain a 30-day visa at arrival to the Maldives upon showing valid onward or return tickets and that you have enough funds to cover your trip. The Foreign & Commonwealth Office can provide more information if you have any questions.

Getting to Gili Lankanfushi

The resort is 20 minutes away by a speed boat transfer, which is arranged by the hotel to suit your arrival time to the Maldives. It costs $185 for the round trip per person. When you arrive at the resort the staff will cater to your every needs, with butlers on hand to serve you at any time of day – they can even arrange excursions for you!
